Misako Yamashita (Singing)
Carol MacLaine is the owner of and singer at the Galaxy of Terror bar. She is also the younger sister of Thomas MacLaine. Despite her strained relationship with most of the townsfolk, she is close with her older brother.
History[]
Carol was raised in Greenvale by her mother, the previous owner of the Galaxy of Terror, and her brother. Her mother taught her to sing, and she has been doing so at the bar since her early childhood. Her father was likely not in the picture as, once her mother passed away, Carol was raised by Thomas. She dropped out of High School at 16 to run the bar.
At some point, Carol began a sexual relationship with George Woodman and built a room beneath the Galaxy of Terror for his express use. She also brought her friends, Anna Graham and Becky Ames, into the sex cult run by George. After Anna's death, Carol can be found mourning beneath the tree where her body was found.
Role[]
Carol is the fourth woman killed by George in his quest to become a god. Agent Francis York Morgan and Emily Wyatt stumble across her in the Other World version of the Sheriff's Department, with her tongue missing and her mouth full of red seeds. She writes out on the floor, in her own blood, that both she and Thomas were merely substitutes George used for Emily. She then attacks Emily in a fit of rage and shoves red seeds down the deputy officer's throat. After a brief struggle, she succumbs to her wounds and dies.
Trivia[]
- Carol's trading card states that she is 20 years old, making her quite accomplished for someone who can't legally drink yet in the USA.
- Jack the Raging Bull thought that Carol was the most attractive woman around. The player can talk to Thomas to get a side quest into Carol's stalker problem. Jack would appear near the front of the bar to watch her sing on clear nights.
